I have lived in Dunkirk and Fredonia my entire career. I have a wife and two lovely children, and we plan to start trying for a third in June. One thing that I am very proud of is having an ability to turn any group of people into an unflappable team.

Like so many teachers, my coworkers have grown into family. Here is Mrs. Artieda, holding my baby to make her husband jealous. Dunkirk teachers make up the majority of my close friends and family. They're who I talk to most. They're who I trust. Being in a position to protect Dunkirk Teachers would be the greatest honor.

Whether teaching or track coaching, I love teaching in our community and working with our diverse and often maddening students. I never have, and never will leave the classroom. Being in the classroom is what I love. I believe that supporting our teachers, nurses, social workers and counselors requires working with actual students every day.
